Ribs
- 2 racks pork ribs about 4 pounds
Marinade
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup mirin
- ¼ cup sake
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
1. Mix all marinade ingredients in a bowl.
2. Place the ribs in a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them on the grill. Cook for about 10 minutes on each side, basting with the marinade occasionally.
5. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
6. Transfer the ribs to a baking sheet and cover with foil. Bake in the oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the meat is tender.
7. Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
