Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Beef (chuck or stew meat)
  • 2 medium Onions sliced
  • 2 medium Carrots cut into chunks
  • 2 medium Potatoes cut into chunks
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 package Japanese curry roux

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add beef and cook until browned.
  2. 2. Add onions and cook until softened.
  3. 3. Add carrots and potatoes, cook for a few minutes.
  4. 4. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Add curry roux and stir until dissolved. Simmer for another 15 minutes.
  6. 6. Serve hot with rice.
