Main Ingredients
- 500 g Beef slices thinly sliced
- 1 bunch Asparagus trimmed
- 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Mirin
- 1 tablespoon Sake
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
1. Blanch the asparagus in boiling water for 2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
2. Lay out the beef slices on a cutting board. Place a few asparagus spears on each slice and roll up tightly. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the beef rolls and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
4. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar. Pour the mixture over the beef rolls and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
5. Remove the toothpicks and serve the beef rolls hot.
