Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Beef chuck, cut into cubes
  • 2 medium Carrots, sliced
  • 2 medium Potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 3 cups Beef broth
  • ¼ cup Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Add the onions and cook until softened.
  4. Add the carrots and potatoes, and cook for a few minutes.
  5. Pour in the beef broth, soy sauce, sugar, and mirin. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 1.5 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
