Main Ingredients
- 500 g Beef chuck, cut into cubes
- 2 medium Carrots, sliced
- 2 medium Potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 large Onion, chopped
- 3 cups Beef broth
- ¼ cup Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Mirin
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides.
Add the onions and cook until softened.
Add the carrots and potatoes, and cook for a few minutes.
Pour in the beef broth, soy sauce, sugar, and mirin. Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 1.5 hours, or until the beef is tender.
Serve hot and enjoy!
