Ingredients

  • 1 cup Black beans dried
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the black beans and soak them in water overnight.
  2. Drain the beans and place them in a pot with 4 cups of water.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Add soy sauce and sugar, and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  5. Serve warm or at room temperature.
