- ½ cup black sesame seeds toasted
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 2 tablespoon water
Toast the black sesame seeds in a dry pan over medium heat until fragrant.
Grind the toasted sesame seeds into a fine powder using a spice grinder or mortar and pestle.
In a saucepan, combine the ground sesame seeds, sugar, and milk. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Once the mixture begins to simmer, add the cornstarch slurry and continue to stir until the mixture thickens.
Remove from heat and let cool. Serve chilled.
