Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. 2. Add flour, salt, and butter to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. 6. Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place it on a baking tray.
  7. 7. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
