Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked rice
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 cup Diced onions
  • 1 cup Diced carrots
  • ½ cup Soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the diced onions and carrots to the skillet and cook until they are tender.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rice and the beef mixture. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
