  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, combine the rice and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add salt to taste and stir well before serving.
