Ingredients 

Noodles

  • 400 g thick noodles

Broth

  • 500 ml chicken stock
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon green onions, chopped

Instructions 

  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a pot, combine chicken stock, soy sauce, mirin, sugar, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. In a pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add green onions and cook until fragrant.
  4. Combine the broth with the green onions and sesame oil. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  5. Serve the noodles and broth separately. Dip the noodles into the broth and enjoy.
