Japanese Doria Recipe
A delicious Japanese rice gratin dish with a creamy white sauce and cheese topping.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- 1 cup Chicken Breast, diced
- 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup Onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Flour
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 cup Shredded Cheese
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and stir continuously for about 2 minutes.
Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
In a separate pan, cook the chicken until no longer pink. Add the onions and mushrooms, cooking until softened.
Mix the cooked rice with the chicken and vegetables. Spread this mixture in a baking dish.
Pour the white sauce over the rice mixture and top with shredded cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
