Fish Cake Ingredients

  • 500 g White fish fillets boneless and skinless
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the fish fillets, soy sauce, mirin, salt, and sugar. Mix well.
  2. 2. Add the panko breadcrumbs and mix until the mixture is well combined and can be formed into cakes.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into small patties.
  4. 4. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. 5. Fry the fish cakes until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. 6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
