Ingredients 

Marinade

  • ¼ cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon Sake
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 fillets Fish (e.g., Salmon, Cod)

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, and minced garlic.
  2. Place the fish fillets in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the fish is well-coated.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the marinated fish for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Serve hot with steamed rice and vegetables.
