Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g White fish fillets cut into pieces
  • 1 l Dashi stock
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 Carrot sliced
  • 100 g Shiitake mushrooms sliced
  • 1 Spring onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a pot, bring the dashi stock to a boil.
  2. 2. Add the soy sauce, mirin, and salt. Stir well.
  3. 3. Add the carrot and shiitake mushrooms. Cook for 10 minutes.
  4. 4. Add the fish pieces and cook for another 10 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
  5. 5. Garnish with chopped spring onion before serving.
