  • ¼ cup mirin
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sake
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. Mix soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and sake in a bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Grill eel fillets for 5 minutes on each side.
  4. Brush sauce on eel and grill for another 5 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with remaining sauce.
