  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons matcha powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, matcha powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball slightly with your hand.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
