  • 4 pieces Japanese plums halved and pitted
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
  2. 2. Add the halved and pitted Japanese plums to the saucepan. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. Let it cool.
  4. 4. Serve the plums with syrup over ice cream or yogurt.
