Japanese Plum Wine Recipe
This is a traditional Japanese plum wine recipe, also known as Umeshu. It's sweet, fruity, and perfect for sipping.

Main Ingredients
- 1 kg Green plums unripe
- 500 g Rock sugar
- 1.8 liters Shochu or any distilled spirit
1. Wash the plums and remove any stems.
2. Dry the plums thoroughly with a clean towel.
3. Layer the plums and rock sugar in a large glass jar.
4. Pour the shochu over the plums and sugar.
5. Seal the jar tightly and store in a cool, dark place for at least 6 months to a year.
6. Strain the liquid through cheesecloth before serving.
