Marinade
- ½ cup Soy Sauce
- ¼ cup Mirin
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger, grated
- 4 pieces Pork Chops
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
Place pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork chops, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Preheat grill or pan over medium-high heat. Remove pork chops from marinade and discard the marinade.
Grill or cook the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
