Ingredients 

Marinade

  • ½ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup Mirin
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, grated
  • 4 pieces Pork Chops

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Place pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork chops, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat grill or pan over medium-high heat. Remove pork chops from marinade and discard the marinade.
  4. Grill or cook the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  5. Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
