Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Adzuki beans
  • 4 cups Water
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 4 pieces Mochi optional

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the adzuki beans under cold water.
  2. In a pot, add the beans and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. Add sugar and a pinch of salt. Stir well and cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with mochi if desired.
