Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Japanese short-grain rice
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn) frozen or fresh
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger grated
  • 2 tablespoon Green onions chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. 2. Add the rice and water to a rice cooker and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  3. 3. While the rice is cooking, heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. 4. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. 5. Add mixed vegetables to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
  6. 6. Add soy sauce to the vegetables and stir to combine.
  7. 7. Once the rice is cooked, add it to the pan with the vegetables and mix well.
  8. 8. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
