  2. 2. Bring the water to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.
  3. 3. Continue simmering until all the water evaporates, leaving behind the salt.
  4. 4. Strain the salt through a fine strainer to remove any impurities.
  5. 5. Spread the salt on a baking sheet and let it dry completely.
