Main Ingredients
- 2 cups short-grain rice
- 2 ½ cups water
- 1 sheet nori (seaweed), cut into small pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Combine rice and water in a pot, bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt.
Once rice is cooked, let it sit covered for 10 minutes.
Fluff the rice with a fork, then stir in the soy sauce mixture.
Add nori pieces and sesame seeds, mix well.
