Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef short ribs
  • 1 cup Soy sauce
  • ½ cup Mirin
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, grated
  • 2 cups Beef broth

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a Dutch oven, sear the short ribs on all sides until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, add soy sauce, mirin, sugar, garlic, ginger, and beef broth. Bring to a simmer.
  4. Return the short ribs to the pot, cover, and transfer to the oven. Cook for 3 hours or until the meat is tender.
  5. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
