Japanese Soft Boiled Egg Recipe
Delicious and perfectly cooked Japanese soft boiled eggs, also known as Ajitsuke Tamago, perfect for ramen or as a snack.

Main Ingredients
- 4 Eggs Large
- 1 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 cup Water
- 0.5 cup Mirin
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
1. Bring a pot of water to a boil.
2. Carefully lower the eggs into the boiling water using a slotted spoon.
3. Boil the eggs for exactly 7 minutes.
4. Prepare a bowl of ice water. After 7 minutes, transfer the eggs to the ice water to stop cooking.
5. In a separate bowl, mix soy sauce, water, mirin, and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
6. Once the eggs are cool, peel them and place them in the soy sauce mixture. Let them marinate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
