  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  2. 2. In another bowl, beat the egg and then add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. 3. Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  4. 4. Pour the batter into muffin cups, filling them about ⅔ full.
  5. 5. Place the muffin cups in a steamer and steam over medium heat for about 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. 6. Remove from the steamer and let cool slightly before serving.
