Ingredients

  • 1 kg Pork Spare Ribs
  • ½ cup Soy Sauce
  • ½ cup Rice Vinegar
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Grated Ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the spare ribs. Boil for 5 minutes to remove impurities. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, grated ginger, and minced garlic. Mix well.
  3. 3. Add the spare ribs to the pot and pour the sauce mixture over them. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. 4. Mix cornstarch with water and add to the pot. Stir well and cook for another 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. 5. Serve hot with steamed rice.
