Ingredients

  • 4 large Eggs
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vegetable Oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs thoroughly.
  2. Add sugar, mirin, soy sauce, and salt to the eggs. Mix well.
  3. Heat the tamagoyaki pan over medium heat and lightly oil it.
  4. Pour a thin layer of the egg mixture into the pan. When it starts to set, roll it to one side of the pan.
  5. Oil the pan again, pour another thin layer of egg mixture, and roll it over the first layer. Repeat until all the egg mixture is used.
  6. Remove from pan and let it cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
