Main Ingredients
- 2 large Japanese sweet potatoes peeled and cubed
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tablespoon butter melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 unit pie crust pre-made or homemade
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Boil the sweet potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash.
In a mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.
Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
Bake for 45 minutes, or until the pie is set and the crust is golden brown.
Let the pie cool before serving.
