  • 2 cups Japanese short-grain rice
  • 1 medium Japanese sweet potato peeled and diced
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Place the rice in the rice cooker and add the water, soy sauce, and salt.
  3. Add the diced sweet potato on top of the rice.
  4. Start the rice cooker and cook until done.
  5. Once cooked, fluff the rice and sweet potatoes together before serving.
