Main Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken Thighs boneless, skinless
- ¼ cup Soy Sauce
- ¼ cup Mirin
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Sake
- 1 clove Garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Ginger grated
- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- 1 cup Steamed Vegetables e.g., broccoli, carrots
1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sugar, sake, garlic, and ginger. Mix well.
2. Add chicken thighs to the bowl and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
3. Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
4. Pour the remaining marinade into the pan and cook until the sauce thickens.
5. Serve the teriyaki chicken with cooked rice and steamed vegetables in a bento box.
