  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup mirin
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sake
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 piece green onion, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Mix soy sauce, mirin, sugar, and sake in a bowl.
  2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Cook chicken until browned.
  5. Pour sauce over chicken and simmer until thickened.
  6. Serve chicken over rice, garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
