Instructions
Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
Dice the tomatoes, onion, and garlic.
Heat the vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat.
Add the onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.

Add the rice, water, soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Stir well.
Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
