Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Sushi Rice
- 2 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 200 grams Fresh Tuna Sashimi grade
- 4 sheets Nori (Seaweed)
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce For serving
- 1 tablespoon Wasabi For serving
- 1 tablespoon Pickled Ginger For serving
1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
2. Cook the rice in a rice cooker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
3. In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
4. Once the rice is cooked, transfer it to a large bowl and gently fold in the vinegar mixture. Let it cool to room temperature.
5. Place a sheet of nori on a sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top.
6. Lay thin slices of tuna across the center of the rice.
7. Roll the sushi tightly using the mat, then slice into bite-sized pieces with a sharp knife.
8. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
