Ingredients

  • 1 cup Plain yogurt
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the yogurt and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Sift in the flour and baking powder, and mix until just combined.
  5. Stir in the vegetable oil and vanilla extract.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
