Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Glutinous rice
  • ¾ cup Water
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Sweet red bean paste
  • 8 pieces Pickled cherry blossom leaves Rinsed and soaked in water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. 2. Combine the rice and water in a steamer and steam for 20 minutes.
  3. 3. Transfer the steamed rice to a mixing bowl and add the sugar. Mix well.
  4. 4. Divide the sweet red bean paste into 8 equal portions and shape them into balls.
  5. 5. Take a small amount of the rice mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a red bean paste ball in the center and wrap the rice around it to form a ball.
  6. 6. Wrap each rice ball with a pickled cherry blossom leaf.
  7. 7. Serve and enjoy!
