Sakura Mochi Recipe
Traditional Japanese sweet made with glutinous rice and sweet red bean paste, wrapped in a pickled cherry blossom leaf.

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Glutinous rice
- ¾ cup Water
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 cup Sweet red bean paste
- 8 pieces Pickled cherry blossom leaves Rinsed and soaked in water
1. Rinse the glutinous rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
2. Combine the rice and water in a steamer and steam for 20 minutes.
3. Transfer the steamed rice to a mixing bowl and add the sugar. Mix well.
4. Divide the sweet red bean paste into 8 equal portions and shape them into balls.
5. Take a small amount of the rice mixture and flatten it in your hand. Place a red bean paste ball in the center and wrap the rice around it to form a ball.
6. Wrap each rice ball with a pickled cherry blossom leaf.
7. Serve and enjoy!
