Ingredients

  • 500 g Mustard Greens washed and chopped
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Rice Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine water, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. 2. Place the chopped mustard greens in a mixing bowl.
  3. 3. Pour the cooled vinegar mixture over the mustard greens. Add red chili flakes if using.
  4. 4. Mix well and let it sit for at least 2 hours before serving. For best results, refrigerate overnight.
